Reiki is a form of alternative medicine developed in 1922 by Mikao Usui. Since originating in Japan, reiki has been adapted into varying cultural traditions across the world.
Reiki is a technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying hands on" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" (Qi) flows through us and is what causes us to be alive, be happy and healthy. Reiki means "spiritually guided life force."
Most clients feel a sense of relaxation and peace. The mind may feel calm and your physical body should feel relaxed. Reiki is so relaxing that sometimes clients may fall asleep during the session. Don't worry though, you will still receive all of the benefits of the session, sleeping or awake.
The practice is alleged to aid relaxation, assist in the body's natural healing processes, and develop emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. It is also said to induce deep relaxation, help people cope with difficulties, relieve emotional stress, and improve overall well-being.
I will offer group Reiki experiences, private 1-2-1 sessions, and workshops including Yoga, Sound Bath’s and Reiki.
